HGV Class 2 DriversBased Mercia ParkOngoing - Monday to Friday with potential temp to permStart time: 06:00Pay Rates: Weekday - £15.00 to £16.00 plus holiday payDriver Require are recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Mercia ParkThe role as a Class 2 driver will include: Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned for a job. Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so.Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport TeamEnsuring the load is strapped downDriving a Class 2 Lorry to and from their customer locationsMulti drop (up to 7 drops) to warehouse/RDCHandballing required – Pump truckLiaising with Customers Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts Effectively managing your driving time so that you don’t acquire infringements.Class 2 Driver requirements:Must have 6 months Class 2 Driver experienceStrapping and loading experience neededBe mindful of the vehicles when driving to customer eg fitting into tight spacesMaximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions (DD/DR/IN10's)#INDNUN
