Benefits include: • Guaranteed 48 hours per week (£679.20) • Paid breaks • Overtime at time and a half after 48 hours • A supportive, friendly, and people-focused working environment • Cycle to Work Scheme • Electric Car Leasing Scheme • Free CPC Training • Enhanced holidays and loyalty bonuses based on length of service • Company Pension Scheme • £15k Death in Service insurance cover • Access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme • Full uniform and PPE provided Main Duties & Responsibilities Key Tasks • Carry out efficient delivery of palletised freight to retail stores, using tail lifts and electric pallet trucks. • Ensure all work-related paperwork is accurately completed and submitted at the end of each shift. • Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after every shift to maintain safety and legal compliance. • Report any non-conformities, issues or near misses promptly to your line manager. • Secure freight safely for transit to protect goods and maintain quality standards. • Deliver goods on time, maintaining professionalism and care throughout the journey. • Use our industry-leading technology for route optimisation and proof-of-delivery capture, making your day smoother and more efficient. Employer Expectations Skills/Knowledge/Experience • Proven experience operating Heavy Goods Vehicles. • Competent in using power pallet trucks and electronic delivery equipment. • Exceptional customer service skills and confidence dealing with customers. • Pride in maintaining your vehicle and equipment to a high standard. • Strong time-management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines. Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required • Digital Tacho Card – Required • Valid Class 2 / Category C Driving Licence – Required • Driver CPC – Required • Strong working knowledge of driver regulations – Required
