Our client based in Wellingborough has a unique opportunity for a class 1 driver to be trained on a HGV Van carrier. This role is permanent after 13 weeks. This role will require 4 nights out per week Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday. Duties will include collection and delivery of vans to nationwide locations. The loading and unloading and securing of vehicles at heights and working in confined spaces. Attention to detail is a key point with this position as you will be responsible for checking the vehicles for any damage prior to loading and unloading. Pre delivery inspections. (PDI) Paper work is also a key point as you will need to thoroughly check and complete PODs Applicants should have held class 1 licence for 2 years no more than 6 points and over 25 for insurance. Applicants must also hold CPC card & Digi Tachograph card. PAY – £700.00 per week for 5 days & 4 nights out On completion of training and after 13 weeks you will be transferred on to the customer’s contract and will receive £830.00 per week for the above.
