Join a well-established retail operation with competitive night rates up to £29.03 per hour including holiday pay. Turbo Driving are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to complete trunk runs for a well-established Retail client based in South Elmsall, Pontefract. We are looking for drivers to work at least 1 weekend shift per week within their working pattern. Pay Rates: • Sunday to Thursday Night – £20.36 per hour (£22.81 per hour inclusive of holiday pay) • Friday Night – £22.91 per hour (£25.67 per hour inclusive of holiday pay) • Saturday Night – £25.91 per hour (£29.03 per hour inclusive of holiday pay) • Overtime after 43.5 hours – £22.57 per hour (£25.29 per hour inclusive of holiday pay) Duties: • Make on time deliveries • Trunking to other depots • Box trailers • 19:00 – 02:00 start times • Cover 1 weekend shift as a minimum • Occasional double team work • Communicate effectively with the transport team • Abide by driving rules and regulations • Follow Company policies and procedures • Drive a Class 1 Vehicle safely and efficiently The ideal candidate: • Hold a valid UK Category CE licence for a minimum of 12 months • Have 12 months experience driving Class 1 Vehicles • Hold a valid UK CPC Card • Hold a valid UK Digi Card • No more than 6 penalty points • No major endorsement codes • Good communication skills • Availability to cover weekend work Application process: • Unpaid driving assessment • 2 Day paid classroom induction • 2 Buddy up shifts Benefits: • Free onsite parking • Weekly pay • Ongoing work • Friendly working environment • Flexible shift patterns • Company pension Turbo Driving is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
