Description

Walsh Plant & Groundworks Limited at Crohane, Ballinascarthy, Co.Cork is looking for 2 heavy machine operator. The successful candidates will be required to drive and control an excavator. The Role As an Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in supporting our construction projects by operating both small and large excavator units safely and efficiently. You will help deliver projects to the highest standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Operate a range of excavators. Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, levelling, drainage, and foundation works. Carry out daily machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance. Work safely in accordance with company procedures and health and safety legislation. Collaborate with site supervisors and ground workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Essential Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience operating both small and large excavators. Demonstrates excellent machine control and safe operating practices. Is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in delivering quality work. Can work independently while also contributing positively within a team.
