We are currently recruiting for  Heavy Equipment Service Truck Mechanic  for project work to expand our team in  Egremont,   AB . The  Heavy Equipment Service Truck Mechanic  is responsible in to inspecting, servicing, and maintaining our range of heavy-duty equipment. As a Heavy Equipment Service Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for driving to the job site, inspecting equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and providing routine maintenance to a diversified fleet. Some travel to remote work sites may be for extended periods of time. Responsibilities: • Driving to various job sites. • Inspecting trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance. • Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment. • Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts. • Repairing damaged equipment parts. • Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty and automotive vehicles. • Repair and service machine attachments. • Performing major repair work when necessary. • Consulting with other Mechanics and Supervisor when needed. Desired skills and Experience: • Red Seal Trade Certification as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. • Proven work experience with diesel or heavy equipment. • Understanding of computer testing technologies. • Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic & electrical systems, and construction equipment. • Ability to work after-hours if required. • Good communication skills. • Must have at least a Class 5 driver’s license. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
