Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and take charge of operating a wide range of construction machinery to bring vital projects to life! Duties
• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery to perform tasks like earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling
• Manage various trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks for transporting materials and liquids across construction sites
• Use specialized equipment like concrete mixers and farm machinery to support concrete pouring and other site-specific tasks
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained
• Follow detailed safety procedures during equipment operation and coordinate with team members to execute tasks efficiently
• Assist with site preparation, material loading/unloading, and cleanup activities as needed
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and operational reports
Skills
• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and water or tanker trucks
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues and perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and operational procedures
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy-duty vehicles like dump trucks or front loader trucks
• Ability to operate specialized equipment including concrete mixers and farm machinery confidently
• Knowledge of construction materials handling and site logistics coordination
• Excellent communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance
