Enjoy working on a variety of equipment from 5500 to 50 ton tri drives?  We may be the place for you. We are looking for a experienced HD tech to help us maintain our fleet of 100 plus pieces. What the job entails: Job Duties • Perform diagnostics, pre- inspections, and troubleshoot all our light duty to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulic, and other mechanical components. • Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. • Work well and fit in with our existing team members to solve complex mechanical issues. • Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed. • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. What you bring to the table: Required Skills and Qualifications: • Red Seal certification or equivalent in Heavy Duty Mechanic/Truck & Transport Technician, will look at someone with the right mix of knowledge and experience • Experience welding and light fabrication, wiring and hydraulics both on trucks and trailers • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems • Experience using different diagnostic tools and techniques • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety standards Mario's Towing is a progressive and growing company with locations all over the province.
