We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team working on heavy and commercial vehicles. This is a hands on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities • Scheduled servicing of heavy and commercial vehicles • Repairs to braking and steering systems • Overhaul, rebuild, and repair of modern diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains • COF / VCA preparation • Diagnostic fault finding • General industry‑related mechanical tasks • Crane service and repair experience will be an advantage • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment What We’re Looking For • Qualified Diesel Technician (Level 4 or equivalent) • Minimum Class 1 clean driver’s licence (willing to progress to Class 4/5) • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • Strong commitment to health and safety • Own well‑equipped toolbox • Good written and verbal communication skills Additional Information • Applicants must be currently based in New Zealand and legally entitled to work in New Zealand • A pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required • Immediate start available, or negotiable for the right candidate
