Description
Right at Home, one of Ireland’s leading home-care agencies, is now recruiting Healthcare Assistants in Maynooth and Celbridge .
We’re building a strong local team to support older people to live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. If you hold your QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person , and you’re looking for flexible hours close to home, we’d love to hear from you.
Drivers and walkers are welcome.
Please note: We do not provide or sponsor employment visas. Applicants must already be legally entitled to work in Ireland , currently residing in Ireland , and hold a valid visa (if applicable).

What You’ll Do
You’ll help clients remain independent, comfortable, and connected to their community by:
• Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)
• Supporting with light household tasks and meal preparation
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging social activities — appointments, walks, outings
• Offering mobility assistance
• Reporting any wellbeing concerns to our Clinical Team

What You’ll Need
• Minimum 2 QQI Level 5 modules – Care Skills & Care of the Older Person (Essential)
• At least 12 months’ experience in care (Desirable)
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• A reliable, compassionate, and proactive approach
• Patient Moving & Handling cert (Desirable — we can help you obtain this)
• Own transport is an advantage but not essential
