They're now looking for a Health & Safety & Warehouse Coordinator to take ownership of site safety while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. This is not a desk-based advisory role - it's a hands-on operational position where you'll play a visible part in improving safety standards and supporting site workflow continuity. The Role This is a dual-responsibility position combining: ✔ 60% Health & Safety ownership ✔ 40% Warehouse operations coordination You'll lead Health & Safety compliance across the site while supporting the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisor with operational coordination and workflow planning. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety (Approx. 60%) • Own site Health & Safety processes and compliance • Maintain risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and safe systems of work • Ensure procedures meet current legislation requirements • Conduct regular site inspections and monthly reviews • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions • Introduce and manage near-miss reporting initiatives • Monitor and report safety KPIs • Deliver safety training, coaching, and inductions • Support First Aid and Fire Marshal compliance programmes • Liaise with external partners including Worknest and HSE • Review and improve policies and procedures • Promote a proactive safety culture across the site Warehouse Operations Support (Approx. 40%) • Support daily warehouse coordination activity • Assist with labour planning and workflow prioritisation • Support shipment sign-off where required • Provide Shift Supervisor cover when needed • Act as Assistant to the Warehouse Manager • Help maintain smooth operational continuity across site • Work closely with teams to improve efficiency and safety standards About You We're looking for someone who is: ✔ Hands-on and operationally engaged ✔ Comfortable working across safety and warehouse environments ✔ Confident influencing teams positively ✔ Proactive and solutions-focused ✔ Experienced working within fast-paced site environments ✔ Motivated by continuous improvement and collaboration This role suits someone who enjoys being part of operations rather than advising from the sidelines.
