Job Description • Context Relief International (RI) is an international non-profit organization  that partners with communities impacted by conflict, climate change and disaster to save lives, build greater resilience and promote long-term health and wellbeing.   Our team of more than 7,000 staff and local volunteers work in 15 countries across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, providing Health and Nutrition, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Education and Livelihoods programming that creates the foundation for community resilience. • Job Profile The  H ealth Project Lead will drive the implementation of the health projects in  Gaza ,  ensuring the implementation remains focused on project goals.   Your role will focus on leading and facilitating project implementation by engaging with consortium partners,   coordinating with other health actors in the cluster and technical working groups, supervising the technical team ,  and coordinating with support teams to ensure timely delivery of project supplies. You will work in coordination with the  Area Director  to ensure  the  timely implementation of program activities and with the  T echnical  A dvisor to ensure continued technical support to the  technical team and RI  partner ,  and facilitate quality improvement.   You will participate in regular stakeholder engagement activities mainly with RI partners, donors ,  and other humanitarian actors. You will be involved in identifying health and nutrition needs and designing suitable  interventions, and  updating them according to the situation. • Key Responsibilities Project Implementation &   Management • Work with the pr ogram team   to devise  project work plan and oversee implementation  with partners and programs team . • Supervise the project coordinators and ensure regular supportive supervision of RI supported projects. • Coordinate with RI  implementing  partners to ensure smooth implementation of the activities, continued quality improvement and consistent information sharing. • Coordinate with the technical advisor to ensure RI quality benchmarks, protocols and guidelines are followed. • Coordinate with the pro gram team  and the support team to ensure timely procurement and deliver y  of project materials. • Participate in project development including needs assessment and project design . • Oversee technical quality of secondary health care services, including surgical, pediatric, maternal-child health, and nutrition interventions. Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy • Represent RI in health clusters and technical working groups  on technical discussions related to service quality, clinical standards, referral systems, and secondary health care priorities. • Coordinate with health authorities and partners on technical alignment, gap identification, and service improvement priorities. Technical Support & Capacity Building • Coordinate with the program  team and   Technical Advisor  to organize trainings for RI partners ,  including identifying consultant trainers where required. • Support implementation and follow-up of clinical audit, case review, and supportive supervision action plans. • Provide technical support to  the  RI technical team in collaboration with the health and nut rition   t echnical advisor. • Conduct technical capacity assessments of supported partners/facilities and develop capacity-strengthening plans. • Mentor facility teams on clinical protocols, case management standards, and quality improvement actions. • Promote infection prevention and control (IPC), patient safety, and safe clinical practices across supported sites. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting • Develop/ follow-up on implementation of monitoring tools in all RI supported health projects. • In collaboration with the program  team  and technical advisor ,  track project progress against targets and report  accurately . • Contribute in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. • Review and validate service delivery and clinical data that is received from partners, for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with source documents. • About you Skills, knowledge ,   and expertise   are required   for the role. Essential criteria • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine . • Master’s degree in Public Health  would be an ass e t . • Significant  clinical Secondary health care experience . • Significant Program management experience with INGOs • Fluency in Arabic and proficient in English. • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills. • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to multi-task and meet deadlines. Desirable criteria • Master’s degree in Public Health. • Experience in clinical quality assurance, supportive supervision, and quality improvement in hospital or secondary health care settings. • Knowledge of clinical protocols, referral systems, IPC, and patient safety standards. • Experience in partner capacity strengthening and technical mentoring of health staff. • Experience in reviewing health information/data and using findings to improve program quality.
