Each year, PPCCC provides 28,000 people on the central coast with health care services; including sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, birth control, breast and cervical cancer screenings, vasectomies, and safe and legal abortion care at our six health center locations. PPCCC also provides comprehensive sexuality education programs to help adults and teens make healthy decisions, prevent unintended pregnancies, and avoid sexually transmitted infection.   JOB SUMMARY:Under the supervision and direction of the VP of Health Center Operations, directs a multi-service program which provides reproductive health care and abortion services that meets the needs of our patients and community and supports the goals of the affiliate. Responsible for recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation health center non clinical staff.  Responsible for all fiscal aspects of the health center operations. Provides leadership to enhance effective and efficient operations to achieve health center goals.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure adherence to Planned Parenthood California Central Coast written medical protocols which incorporate all State, Federal, PPFA and PPCCC guidelines and which are approved by the Medical Director. Adhere to PPCCC's Administrative policies and procedures and State of California regulations.  Update staff on changes in PPCCC protocols, policies and procedures, as needed. Prepare and monitor program and budget plans in conjunction with the VP of Health Center Operations. Supervise the financial aspects of the center operations, including but not limited to: implementing fee schedules, maintaining inventory and purchasing supplies, balancing of ledger sheets and bank deposits, preparing check requests and approving invoices. Responsible for supervision and reconciliation of daily handling of cash and bank deposits.  Ensure adequate staffing and positive clinic staff relations by recruiting, training, supervising, evaluating and disciplining. Specify responsibilities, authority and working relationships among staff.  Develop/coordinate staff schedules in a timely manner and ensure adequate licensed staff coverage for service demands. Works with lead clinician to develop Clinician schedule. Responsible for reviewing and approving time cards and time off requests for all health center staff, including licensed team members. Supervise health center operations in order to ensure maximum efficiency and clinic flow. Ensure patient satisfaction. Participate as an active member of the Clinical Services Team, which includes participation on the Compliance Quality Assurance/Risk Management Committee (CQRM), Core Management and committees as needed.  Ensure and enforce compliance with infection control, safety and emergency guidelines. Work with the community to develop an environment which is supportive of Planned Parenthood and its goals. Duties may include coordinating programs with other health and social service agencies, enhancing community awareness by public information program and serving as the spokesperson for the health center to the community.
