Description
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Fire, Environmental & Facilities Manager to provide strategic leadership across our client’s HSFE and Facilities functions. This is a standalone role, reporting directly to the Operations Director, where you will play a key role in ensuring legislative compliance , promoting a positive safety culture, maintaining ISO management systems , and supporting operational excellence across the business.
You will be responsible for leading all aspects of Health & Safety while also overseeing facilities and maintenance activities , ensuring the organisation's infrastructure, equipment and compliance standards are maintained to the highest level.

Job Description
• Develop, implement and continuously improve HSFE policies, procedures and management systems
• Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement and effective communication
• Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety, Fire and Environmental legislation
• Maintain ISO 14001 and Occupational Health & Safety management systems
• Manage risk assessments, safe systems of work and the organisation's risk assessment programme
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and prepare Board-level reports
• Lead the Facilities and Maintenance function, ensuring buildings, plant, equipment and infrastructure remain compliant and operational

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
• NEBOSH Diploma, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
• Previous experience working as a Health & Safety Manager within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO management systems
