Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking for a role where you can genuinely influence culture, shape strategy and make a lasting impact? We’re partnering with a leading FMCG business that is looking for an experienced H&S Manager to join its senior leadership team at a large, highly automated manufacturing facility in Yorkshire. This is more than a compliance-focused role. You’ll be responsible for driving a positive safety culture across the site, influencing leaders at all levels and ensuring Health & Safety standards remain at the forefront of everything the business does. The Role As H&S Manager, you will: • Lead all Health and Safety activities across the site • Drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives • Coach and influence managers to take ownership of H&S performance • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions • Manage risk assessments and safe systems of work • Deliver H&S training and awareness programmes • Oversee ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems • Lead audits, inspections and compliance activities • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement H&S strategy • Drive environmental and sustainability improvements across the operation About You To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have: • NEBOSH Diploma (essential) • Environmental qualification (essential) • Significant experience within a senior HSE position • Manufacturing, FMCG, food production or industrial experience Aerospace, Automotive, Oil, Gas, Engineer Background • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 • Knowledge of ISO 14001 • Excellent communication and influencing skills • Experience driving behavioural and cultural change • The ability to engage confidently from boardroom to shop floor What’s On Offer • £65,000 – £75,000 Basic Salary • Annual Bonus Scheme • Enhanced Pension Contribution • Private Healthcare • Flexible Holiday Scheme • Health & Wellbeing Benefits • Genuine Career Progression Opportunities • Senior Leadership Team Exposure This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer that continues to invest in its people, facilities and long-term growth.
