We are currently working with a growing, independent veterinary group who are opening a brand-new surgery in West London and are now looking to recruit a Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead it from day one. This is a rare opportunity to take full clinical ownership of a new practice — building your own team, shaping the culture, and influencing how care is delivered from the ground up. Most leadership roles ask you to step into something already established. This one gives you the chance to create it . The Role: • 4-day week (9-hour shifts) • 1 in 4 weekends • Approx. 39 hours per week • Dedicated admin time built into every shift • No out-of-hours You’ll be responsible for: • Leading and inspiring your clinical team • Setting and maintaining high clinical standards • Delivering excellent first-opinion medicine and surgery • Supporting and developing colleagues • Building strong client and community relationships • Shaping the culture and long-term success of the practice This is a hands-on leadership role combining clinical work with real influence and responsibility.
