Help create an amazing learning environment for young children!
As a Head Start Substitute Staff , you’ll work side by side with our Head Start staff to spark curiosity, build independence, and inspire little learners—all while supporting parents to become their child’s greatest advocate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Team Up in the Kitchen : Help with food prep and cleanup - keeping things organized and tidy.
• Stay Organized : Keep everything running smoothly with accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping.
• Add a Healthy Twist : Bring energy and creativity to health and nutrition activities that inspire kids to make healthier choices.
• Pitch In: Help out with light janitorial duties when necessary - teamwork makes the dream work.
• Promote the Program: Assist with implementing the learning experiences and support recruitment/enrollment efforts to spread the word about Head Start.
• Prioritize Safety : Ensure a safe environment for everyone, every step of the way.

• You know your way around a computer.
• You’re a team player and can handle tasks on your own like a pro.

• You’re up to speed on child development - or eager to learn.
• Problem-solving and keeping the peace? Piece of cake!
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma/GED and/or relevant experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certified - or ready to get certified.
