JOB STATUS: Temporary (40 hours/week), 3 Month Position LOCATION: Tracy,  MN Help create an amazing learning environment for young children!  As a Head Start Assistant Teacher, you'll work side by side with our Head Start Teacher to spark curiosity, build independence, and inspire little learners - all while supporting parents to become their child's greatest advocate. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Team Up for Success:  Collaborate with the Head Start Teacher to plan and most engaging and enriching classroom days ever! • Stay Organized: Keep everything running smoothly with accurate and up-to-date record keeping. • Add a Health Twist: Bring fun and creativity to the classroom with health and nutrition activities. • Be the MVP: Step in for the Head Start Teacher when needed - you're the ultimate backup! • Pitch In: Help out with light janitorial duties when necessary - teamwork makes the dream work. • Promote the Program: Support recruitment and enrollment efforts to spread the word about Head Start. • Ensure  Safety: Safely drive the Head Start bus and transport children to and from the center. SKILLS TO WOW US: • You know your way around a computer. • You're a team player and can handle tasks on your own like a pro. • Reliable? That's your middle name! • You're up to speed on child development - or eager to learn. • Problem-solving and keeping the peace?  Piece of cake! EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Must be 18 years or older. • At least one (1) year of experience working with children ages 3-5. • A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Early Childhood Degree • CPR and First Aid Certification - or ready to get certified.
