Description
Head Reporting & Analytics SRE/SRI (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 80–100%) About the Role As Head Reporting & Analytics SRE/SRI, you will take ownership of the end-to-end reporting and analytics function for Swiss Re Europe (SRE) and Swiss Re International (SRI), leading a talented team of approx. 6-7 colleagues dedicated to statutory, regulatory, and management reporting excellence. Reporting to the CFO SRE/SRI, this is a pivotal leadership role that combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision — you will shape the future of Legal Entity reporting, champion data-driven decision-making, and drive the finance transformation agenda across Luxembourg entities and their branches. You will be a trusted partner to senior Finance stakeholders, regulators, and cross-functional teams, ensuring that reporting is not only compliant and accurate, but also insightful, scalable, and future-ready. Key Responsibilities • Lead and develop a high-performing reporting and analytics team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence • Own and oversee all local reporting activities for Luxembourg entities and their branches, including Lux GAAP statutory reporting, Solvency II and Solvency UK reporting — ensuring timely, accurate, and fully compliant submissions. Ensure high-quality and concise internal management reporting to the SRE/SRI Board of Directors, Management Committee, the General Manager Committee, and other committees and meetings as appropriate. • Drive the strategic reporting and analytics agenda for SRE/SRI, aligning team priorities with GFO&T transformation goals and Swiss Re's broader finance strategy • Champion data-driven insights by overseeing the analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities — translating complex datasets into clear, actionable narratives for senior leadership and regulatory decision-making • Lead the development and rollout of the Legal Entity Dashboard, steering design, testing, go-live, and continuous improvement phases while driving adoption across stakeholder groups • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities across carrier finance and reporting workflows, building more efficient, standardised, and scalable solutions for local "last-mile reporting". • Represent the team in senior management forums, regulatory interactions, and cross-functional governance bodies, preparing and presenting high-quality reporting packs and strategic materials • Strengthen regulatory reporting governance by setting and maintaining robust controls, documentation standards, and data quality frameworks • Support and lead regional and global Carrier Management activities, including facilitation of senior meetings, delivery of knowledge-sharing sessions, and coordination of training programmes • Contribute to GFO&T strategic initiatives, providing leadership on quantitative and qualitative analysis, implementation activities, and milestone tracking About the Team GFO&T (Global Finance Operations & Transformation) is the division responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information for Swiss Re globally — supporting both external reporting and internal analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making. This spans IFRS reporting as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re legal entities, including SST, Solvency II, Solvency UK, and a broad range of local regulatory reporting requirements. GFO&T is at the forefront of transforming Global Finance — streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective, and forward-looking organisation through increased use of automation, analytics, and digital capabilities.
