Description
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable organisation within the Housing sector to recruit a Head of Treasury, Financial Planning & Development. This role will be on a 12 month fixed term basis and offers very agile working (twice a month in office).
Duties;
• Lead the treasury and business planning processes, ensuring robust financial management and long-term sustainability
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive 30-year financial plan aligned to organisational objectives
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring strong integration across teams
• Provide financial oversight and control of the development programme, including appraisal and monitoring of projects
• Integrate treasury reporting and cash flow forecasting into wider financial planning frameworks
• Manage relationships with external funders and treasury advisors in line with the organisation’s treasury strategy
• Lead on the development and enhancement of financial models (including BRIXX) and ensure best practice is applied
• Provide leadership to treasury and financial planning teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
• Deliver high-quality financial insight and reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure effective data coordination and assurance across finance and wider business functions
Candidate criteria:
• Senior-level experience across treasury, financial planning, and development finance
• Proven experience producing high-quality financial performance information and long-term financial modelling
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both financial and non-financial audiences
• Experience managing relationships with external funders and advisors
• Demonstrable leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Strong technical skills, including financial systems and modelling tools (e.g. BRIXX, Excel)
• Experience within the Housing sector is desirable
