Head of Technology Risk, SOX & GovernanceDublin / Permanent€125,000 to €140,000Overview:A great opportunity to lead an organisation's SOX and Technology GRC programmes, driving technology risk governance, control effectiveness, audit readiness, and compliance across cloud and third-party environments. Partner with senior stakeholders to strengthen cyber and technology controls, support regulatory requirements, and provide enterprise risk oversight to executive leadership.What You'll do:Lead SOX ITGC compliance, risk assessments, controls testing, and audit readiness across technology environments.Drive technology GRC strategy, cyber risk governance, and continuous control improvement aligned to enterprise frameworks.Oversee remediation of control gaps, strengthen automated controls, and support cloud and transformation risk initiatives.Partner with auditors, regulators, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams on risk, compliance, and governance matters.Build and lead high-performing GRC teams while promoting accountability, risk awareness, and operational excellence.What I need from You:12 - 15 years' experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders and executives.Extensive expertise in SOX, cyber security governance, and technology risk management frameworks.Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate technology and cyber risks aligned to business priorities and risk appetite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience designing practical, risk-based controls and processes.Experienced in leading complex technology and security initiatives within large global organisations, supported by relevant professional certifications and frameworks knowledge.
