A well-established international industrial company with a strong market position and continuously growing business is currently looking for a Head of Supply Chain Management (m/f/d) for its production site in Wermelskirchen. The company operates in a dynamic and fast-moving technical manufacturing environment and is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from traditional mid-sized structures into a more international matrix organization. The position combines operational responsibility with strategic leadership and offers significant visibility and impact within the plant organization. Aufgaben Your Responsibilities • Overall responsibility for the operational supply chain organization at the production site • Ensuring material availability, production planning and delivery performance • Leadership and further development of teams across: 1. Logistics & Shipping 2. Production Planning 3. Operational Purchasing 4. Parts of Customer Service • Driving collaboration and alignment across the organization during an ongoing transformation and change environment • Coordination between demand, production capacities and customer expectations • Monitoring and improvement of operational KPIs and supply chain performance • Close collaboration with the Head of Plant and the Global Head of Supply Chain Management • Active contribution to process optimization, continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives • Supporting a modern, collaborative and performance-oriented production environment Qualifikation Your Profile • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable field • Several years of leadership experience within supply chain management in a production-driven environment • Strong operational understanding of manufacturing, production planning and logistics processes • Experience in fast-moving industrial environments with high operational dynamics • Proven experience within transformation, change or matrix organizations • Strong SAP experience is mandatory; previous key-user experience is highly desirable • Experience with KPI-driven management and operational steering • Project management experience • Customs/export knowledge would be beneficial • Fluent German and English skills are mandatory • Hands-on, resilient and collaborative leadership style with strong shopfloor credibility Benefits What Makes the Role Attractive • Growing and internationally operating company within a stable future-oriented market • High level of visibility and influence within the organization • Operationally relevant leadership role with real impact on business performance • Modern and team-oriented production environment • Strong business momentum and continuous growth despite current market conditions • Long-term development opportunities within an international group structure Additional Information This is a highly operational on-site leadership role with a strong production focus.
