Maersk is on a journey to become the global integrator of logistics, connecting and simplifying our customers' supply chains through truly integrated solutions. To succeed, we need leaders who can bring together our full product portfolio, build strong customer relationships, and create growth opportunities across the business. As Head of Sales (Country Representative) for Ireland, you will lead our commercial agenda in the market, driving profitable growth across all Maersk products and solutions while acting as the senior country representative across functions. The Role As Head of Sales Ireland, you will own the commercial agenda end to end — shaping strategy, leading execution and building a high-performing sales organisation aligned with Maersk’s integrator ambition. This role is not about managing transactions. It’s about leading transformation: moving from siloed selling to integrated, value-based solutions; from volume focus to profitable growth; and from individual performance to collective, customer-centric impact. You will act as both strategic architect and hands-on leader — engaging senior customers and suppliers, empowering teams, and ensuring disciplined execution across markets, segments, and industries. We're flexible on working location within Ireland. The successful candidate should be comfortable travelling regularly to meet customers and be able to attend our Dublin office as business needs require. What You Will Lead Commercial & Sales Leadership Own all commercial and sales activity across Ireland, delivering sustainable growth across volume and revenue. Define and execute an integrated, data-led Ireland strategy, strong execution discipline and clear performance governance of the commercial pipeline Customer & Market Leadership Build senior, trusted customer relationships through consultative, value-based selling. Use market and customer insight to shape differentiated propositions, improve the customer experience and represent Maersk in complex negotiations. Anticipate industry, regulatory, and geopolitical shifts to guide strategy and influence product and solution priorities. Build relationships with suppliers to support product development helping to enable solutions and customer value propositions Stakeholder & Matrix Leadership Partner effectively with Area, Regional and Global stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation. Lead commercial transformation initiatives aligned with Maersk’s enterprise strategy. People Leadership Build and develop a high-performing, future-ready organisation through coaching, capability building, and succession planning, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and inclusion. At Maersk, we’re redefining how global trade works, moving from traditional logistics to fully integrated supply chain solutions. This role sits at the forefront of that journey. You’ll shape how customers experience Maersk, how teams sell value, and how Ireland contributes to our global ambition.
