What You Can Expect :
1. Team Leadership & Development
• Manage and mentor a team of Business Development Executives (BDE), Business Development Managers (BDM), Key Account Executives (KAE), Key Account Managers (KAM), Inside Sales, and Sales Support.
• Support the team with product and sales expertise, joining sales calls and guiding customer approaches for increased success.
• Conduct regular training sessions to continuously develop the team's skills and knowledge.
2. Sales Strategy & Target Setting
• Drive revenue and gross profit growth to ensure sustainable business performance and contribute to overall cost efficiency
• Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, managing and distributing sales leads effectively.
• Set, measure, and manage sales targets for the team, ensuring consistent performance and growth.
• Focus on the acquisition of new potential customers and business opportunities.
3. Product & Market Development
• Develop strategic products and trade lanes, building a strong product portfolio for market growth.
• Prospect and gather information on potential new customers to build a qualified target account list.
• Lead customer presentations and proposals, ensuring they align with business goals.
4. Sales Lead & CRM Management
• Oversee the management of incoming and outgoing sales leads using CRM systems, ensuring proper follow-up and lead conversion.
• Assist the sales team with quotations and tenders, working closely with the procurement team.
5. Customer Retention & Collaboration
• Collaborate with the Key Account Management team to retain and grow the existing customer base.
• Ensure smooth collaboration between the sales team and the Customer Service department, monitoring the latter's performance and promoting continuous improvement.
6. Complaint Management & Continuous Improvement
• Manage customer complaints in collaboration with the Customer Service and Operations teams, promoting timely and effective resolution.
• Support ongoing improvements to processes and customer experiences.
What You Bring:
• Proven sales leadership experience, preferably in logistics or related industries, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong strategic mindset, with expertise in product development, market expansion, and sales strategy execution.
• Exceptional negotiation and customer relationship management skills, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
• Ability to drive ambitious business growth while maintaining sustainable and scalable success.
