Description
Why Great Gray?
At Great Gray Group, we strive to set the bar for the retirement services industry. Our goal is to deliver advanced retirement solutions that combine our core fiduciary services with robust investment options, innovative technology, and dedicated client service. We focus on making choices clearer, transitions smoother, and the client experience more delightful. Complacency isn't in our vocabulary. Every day, we look for opportunities to better serve our clients, be an excellent business partner, and earn the trust of those who rely on us.
The Role
Great Gray is looking to add a Head of Product Marketing to our Marketing team. This role owns the intelligence layer that arms the entire marketing and sales organization with the right message for the right audience — producing the positioning, competitive intelligence, GTM playbooks, sales enablement, and proposal storytelling that every other marketing function depends on. Reporting to the CMO, you will determine what to say to each channel, each partner, and each advisor tier across both the Great Gray Trust Company and RPAG brands. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — you will set the direction and own the delivery. The ideal candidate brings a structured, analytical discipline to product marketing: someone who builds rigorous systems for competitive intelligence, messaging frameworks, and GTM planning, and executes against them with the same rigor.
Location
This position will work from our Boston, MA office. Great Gray currently supports a hybrid work model with 4 days onsite, and 1 day remote.
Visa sponsorship or transfer of an existing visa is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.

Build and maintain GTM playbooks per Recordkeeper partner and Asset Manager tier, tailored to personas, products, internal concerns, and plan types
Lead launch messaging and GTM coordination for product and feature launches across both brands, including BoardingPass, Panorix, new fund launches, and RPAG feature releases
Produce sales enablement materials: pitch decks, talk tracks, one-pagers, and enablement kits for major campaigns
Own the narrative quality and competitive positioning of all RFP/RFI responses and proposals; direct the Sr. RFP Specialist on proposal strategy and template library development
Lead a CIT positioning refresh and drive campaign series to reinforce market differentiation
Feed Content with positioning direction -- competitive angle, audience-specific framing, and key proof points; and partner with Demand Gen and Head of Growth on messaging frameworks
Brief Brand/Design on messaging direction and visual approach to ensure creative aligns with positioning strategy
Complete other related duties as assigned
