As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, ambitious senior-management-level professional to join our team. This is a senior position within the business, combining hands-on project leadership with responsibility for supporting team development, improving delivery standards and helping drive operational excellence across the organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how projects are delivered, supporting colleagues across the business and helping ensure Vision One continues to provide exceptional service and insight to our clients. The Opportunity This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Insight or Research Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Whilst project leadership remains at the heart of the role, this position offers the opportunity to contribute more broadly to the business’s growth and development. Alongside managing complex research programmes, you will provide guidance to colleagues, support quality standards, contribute to process improvements and work closely with the senior leadership team to enhance delivery excellence across the agency. This is a role with genuine influence, visibility and scope for progression as the business continues to evolve. The Role The Head of Operations and Insight is responsible for leading the successful delivery of research projects from commission through to final presentation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. In addition to managing client relationships and overseeing project delivery, the role carries wider responsibility for supporting the development of junior team members, improving ways of working and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the business. The role requires an individual who combines excellent research expertise with exceptional organisational skills, commercial awareness and a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences. Responsibilities Research & Project Leadership • Lead complex qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method research projects from inception through to delivery. • Manage multiple concurrent projects whilst maintaining exceptional standards of quality and client service. • Oversee project timelines, budgets, resource allocation and delivery schedules. • Anticipate project risks and implement proactive solutions. • Ensure all deliverables meet Vision One’s quality standards and client expectations. • Lead project kick-off meetings and internal project reviews. • Maintain strong oversight of project profitability and commercial performance. Delivery Excellence, Quality Control & Business Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and efficiencies. • Support the development and implementation of best practices across the business. • Contribute to operational planning and resource management discussions. • Help maintain compliance with ISO 20252, internal quality standards and ESOMAR and MRS . • Work closely with the senior leadership team to enhance project delivery, consistency and profitability. • Play an active role in supporting Vision One’s continued growth and development. Team Leadership & Support • Provide guidance, mentoring and support to Insight Executives, Senior Insight Executives and Insight Managers. • Act as a senior point of contact for project delivery challenges and escalations. • Support resource planning and workload management across the team. • Contribute to training, onboarding and professional development initiatives. • Help foster a collaborative, supportive and high-performing team culture. • Encourage best practice in project management, client service and research delivery. • Support Directors in identifying opportunities for account growth and development. • Contribute to proposals, pitches and business development activities where appropriate. About You We’re looking for someone who is: • Significant experience within a market research, insight or consultancy environment. • Strong qualitative and quantitative project management experience. • Outstanding operational and project management skills. • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities. • Strong client relationship management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Commercial awareness and understanding of project profitability. • Experience mentoring or supporting more junior colleagues. • Close attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
