Description
we are hiring on behalf of our client a Head of Growth, Events. The Head of Growth is responsible for driving the strategic direction, commercial growth, product evolution, and long-term market relevance of assigned event brands across multiple editions, markets and formats. This role owns the overall growth strategy of the brand, including market positioning, audience development, commercial proposition enhancement, partnership opportunities, expansion planning, and product evolution. The Head of Growth defines where and how the brand should grow, which audiences and markets to prioritise, and how to strengthen value for attendees continuously, sponsors, partners, and stakeholders. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Content, Operations, and Customer Success teams, the role acts as the central point of strategic alignment and commercial direction for the assigned brands. The role reports directly to the COO of Events and plays a key role in shaping brand momentum, commercial performance, market expansion, and long-term growth strategy. Lead the overall growth strategy and long-term positioning of the event brand Define audience segments, market priorities, and commercial direction Develop and own the brand growth roadmap across international markets and event formats Identify and assess new markets, regions, verticals and expansion opportunities Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and audience behaviour to ensure the brand remains commercially relevant and differentiated Drive innovation across event formats, networking experiences, awards, digital products, and community initiatives Translate market insights, customer feedback, and performance data into actionable product and growth initiatives Shape sponsor propositions, commercial frameworks, and monetisation opportunities Build and manage strategic partnerships that strengthen brand positioning, audience value and revenue growth Work closely with Sales teams to support strategic commercial opportunities and partnership growth Provide strategic input to Marketing on audience priorities, market positioning and value proposition, while Marketing owns messaging, creative execution, campaigns and channel delivery. Ensure strong cross-functional alignment between Sales, Marketing, Content, Operations, Customer Success, Finance and Data teams Act as the central point of coordination for brand direction, product evolution, and commercial priorities Align teams around a shared vision, growth strategy, and event objectives across all editions and markets. Contribute to revenue planning, forecasting and long-term commercial strategy Lead post-event reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and growth Take initiative and contribute beyond immediate responsibilities when needed. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is considered an advantage. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in fintech, financial services, events, media, or commercial growth roles. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of the retail trading, brokerage, fintech, and financial services ecosystem. Deep understanding of key market participants, including brokers, liquidity providers, trading platforms, payment providers, affiliates, prop firms, and crypto/digital asset providers. Commercially minded with experience working closely with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Product teams. Ability to translate market insight into clear strategic direction and practical growth plans. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Familiarity with data-led decision-making, performance tracking, and revenue growth strategies.
