I have partnered with an innovative industrial developer who are seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. You’ll be leading the transactional and financial teams to ensure utmost efficiency is upheld whilst working closely with a variety of clients across different commercial, mixed used and Operational Living portfolios. This role offers a unique chance to shape the financial strategies of the business and contribute to its success whilst liaising with senior leadership and board level. Key Responsibilities: • Leadership & Strategy : Oversee and manage the internal finance team, providing strategic financial guidance and leadership. • Financial Operations : Manage all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial planning. • Systems & Controls : Develop and enhance the management information systems, internal controls, and financial reporting. • Reporting : Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports and cash flow projections. • Cash Flow Management : Monitor banking activities to ensure adequate cash flow. • Relationship Management : Represent the Group with external stakeholders such as bankers, auditors, and tax authorities. Essential Skills: • Strong understanding of corporate financial management and accounting principles. • Experience in process improvement and change management. • Proficiency in managing relationships with financial institutions. • Knowledge of payroll, audit, and tax/VAT regulations. Qualifications: • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). • Over 5 years of post-qualification experience in a senior finance role. • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office.
