Your Mission
As Head of Europe (m/f/d), you will be a member of the global senior management team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial safety across Europe, with a strong focus on the DACH region. You will lead around 150 colleagues across nine countries, including approximately 115 employees in DACH, driving business performance, strengthening cross-border collaboration, and ensuring sustainable growth.
Based at our European headquarters in Ratingen, you will serve as one of the Managing Directors in Germany. In addition, you will lead the Managing Directors of our European sales and service organizations, fostering strong local leadership, clear accountability, and long-term success for IEP Technologies within the HOERBIGER Group.
How you will make a difference
• Operational Excellence: Drive efficient processes, a robust organization, and reliable execution with a strong hands-on approach, operating confidently in smaller, decentralized setups.
• People & Organization: Lead the European organization pragmatically and close to the business, ensuring clear structures, governance, and decision-making in a matrix environment.
• P&L Ownership: Share full P&L responsibility for the European region together with the local Managing Directors.
• Strategy to Execution: Translate global strategies into tangible regional actions with measurable business impact.
• Safety & Accountability: Further develop and lead a high-performing safety and accountability culture across all European entities.
• Risk & Compliance: Maintain and strengthen effective risk management, compliance, and integrity across all business activities.
What you should be good at
• General Management Background: Experience as Managing Director, COO, or in a comparable all-round leadership role with full responsibility for administration, organization, and performance.
• Entrepreneurial Mentality : Strong track record in building and running effective operations, with a focus on execution, process efficiency, and organizational clarity.
• Leadership Style: Value-based, clear, and hands-on leadership with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• Financial Acumen: Solid command of P&L and balance sheet management combined with sound business judgment.
• Language Skills: Native-level German and very good English are required.
