To succeed, we need an engineering organisation that can balance innovation with pragmatism, technical excellence with execution, and long-term optimisation with delivery. We are now seeking a Head of Engineering to lead and develop our engineering function. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for a multidisciplinary team covering process and mechanical engineering, automation and technical project support. You will ensure that engineering resources are effectively allocated across ongoing operations and growth projects while creating the structure, leadership and decision-making needed for a growing organisation. You will join an organisation with deep technical expertise. Your role will not be to be the smartest specialist in the room. Instead, you will create the conditions for others to succeed, make sound engineering decisions, and ensure that projects move forward in a structured and efficient way. The role reports to the Head of Upstream Growth and can be based in Stockholm or Malmö. About the Role As Head of Engineering, you will lead a team of approximately 15 engineers and technical specialists supporting both operational assets and major capital projects. You will be responsible for developing the function, strengthening leadership within the team, and ensuring engineering resources are aligned with business priorities. A key aspect of the role is creating balance between technical optimisation and practical execution. Our engineers are highly skilled specialists, and your role will be to guide decision-making, prioritise effectively and ensure that engineering solutions create value not only in design, but throughout construction, operations and the entire asset lifecycle. You will work closely with Project Management, Operations, Procurement and Asset Management, acting as a bridge between engineering excellence and industrial reality. Success in this role requires strong leadership capabilities, a broad understanding of engineering, and experience in project-driven industrial environments.
