We welcome candidates from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, and we care as much about your trajectory and potential as we do about direct, one‑to‑one matches with every requirement.   About the team Klaviyo went public in 2023 and is scaling fast. This is a rare chance to architect the Finance systems foundation for a company at this inflection point. The Finance Technology Systems team is part of G&A Systems within Global Technology Solutions (GTS). This group designs, operates, and continually improves the applications and workflows that power how Klaviyo manages money, risk, and financial reporting at scale. The team partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Procurement, and Internal Audit, as well as adjacent technology teams like Corporate IT, Data, and GTM Systems, to ensure our back‑office stack is reliable, well‑integrated, compliant, and ready for a public, AI‑forward SaaS business. We own the roadmap, health, and governance of platforms including our ERP and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite/Oracle), procure‑to‑pay (e.g., Coupa), revenue and billing systems, and related integrations and automation. This role reports to the Senior Director, G&A Systems and leads the team responsible for Finance Technology Solutions across Klaviyo. What You'll Do As the Head of Engineering, Finance Systems, you will be the accountable technology leader for Klaviyo’s Finance application landscape and core financial workflows. You will define and execute the multi‑year vision for our Finance systems, lead a high‑performing team, and partner with senior Finance and GTS leaders to deliver automation, control, and insight across our procure‑to‑pay, record‑to‑report, and order‑to‑cash processes. Own the Finance systems vision and roadmap Define and maintain the multi‑year strategy and roadmap for Klaviyo’s Finance technology stack (ERP, procure‑to‑pay, revenue and billing, treasury, close and reconciliation tooling), aligned to the CFO’s agenda and the company’s financial plan. Translate Finance, Accounting, Tax, and FP&A objectives into clear systems investments and sequencing, balancing foundational platform work with high‑impact automation and analytics use cases. Lead and develop the Finance Technology team Manage and grow a team of application owners, business systems analysts, administrators, and integration specialists who collectively own the Finance systems portfolio and its integrations. Set clear expectations around domain ownership, service reliability, partnership with Finance stakeholders, and measurable business outcomes; build strong succession and leadership bench strength within the team. Drive AI-native transformation across Finance  Lead Klaviyo's push to make Finance one of the most automated, insight-driven functions in the company. You'll identify and deliver high-value AI use cases across the Finance workflow.  You'll partner directly with Klaviyo's AI and data platform teams to embed AI into core Finance processes with clear guardrails, measurable productivity gains, and the rigor expected of a public company. This isn't a future-state vision, it's work already underway, and you'll own it. Design and opt
