Head of Commercial – North East Company Successful UK contractor with an increasingly strong presence in the North East, driven by its position on one of the regions most prolific frameworks, providing a secure project pipeline for the next decade. Role The head of commercial will have key responsibilities for overseeing activities within the regional framework account. This will include commercial reporting to and with the framework director and managing a team of quantity surveyors who are approving payments, reporting site forecasts and preparing CVRs. This is a full-time staff position based in Durham offering flexible and hybrid working arrangements. Experience Required The ideal applicant will have NEC contract knowledge and experience within a civil engineering main contractor, ideally with additional exposure in the water sector. The ability to deliver robust commercial reporting, positive team leadership, mentoring and guidance, whilst building strong relations with operational colleagues, is essential. Remuneration Salary for this position is negotiable dependant on experience, up to circa £90,000 plus company car or car allowance and other package benefits.
