Description
Furiosa is seeking a Hardware/Silicon Validation Engineer to validate first silicon bring-up and ensure reliability of an AI accelerator. The role involves functional validation, signal integrity evaluation, high-speed interface enablement, debugging, and customer technical support.
What You'll Do
• Bring up first silicon and validate main IPs such as PCIe, DRAM, and Ethernet interfaces
• Evaluate low-voltage circuit characteristics and eye opening margins for supply voltage domains
• Enable and characterize high-speed interfaces including PCIe, DRAM, and Ethernet
• Debug issues, identify root causes, and develop workaround solutions
• Ensure reliability, yield improvement, and manufacturability of the AI accelerator
• Provide customer technical support and perform failure analysis
What You Need
• Understanding of ARM architecture and AMBA bus protocols
• Computer architecture and programming fundamentals
• Proficiency in programming languages including C, Python, and Bash
• PCB schematic comprehension and basic electronic circuit knowledge including design rules
Nice to Have
• Linux proficiency (Ubuntu) and device driver or firmware implementation capability
• Firmware-level IP control and understanding of IP functions and characteristics
• Signal and power integrity knowledge including ODT, drive strength, Vref, and setup/hold timing margins
