Hairdresser & Shopkeeper Requirements: • you are a good salesperson with strong awareness of budget management and target achievement (both in the hairdressing department and in the onboard shop) • has been awarded a degree in hairdressing or hair styling, has several years of experience on land, onboard of river ships, or sea-going vessels as, hairdresser or hairstylist; coiffeur or coiffeuse • at least 2 years of experience in providing quality hair care services for both ladies and gentlemen • good knowledge of English and/or German (knowledge of French is a plus) • very good sales skills so you will effectively manage the on-board shop • good communication and persuasion skills Responsibilities: • promote the onboard hairdressing services • consult with the customer during hairdressing appointments and offer the best possible look, making clients leave with a smile on their face • offer informed advice on hair products, treatment and hair care • be aware of the stock of hair care products as well as of shop inventory the shop, including Jewelry, and be able to gauge the tastes and interests of passengers • deal directly with guests and support the Front Desk team, especially when no appointments are scheduled , as well as on check-in and check-out days • attend the loading of food, beverage, laundry and other items
