This role is crucial for ensuring that Kingfisher’s supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will make a difference by driving change, influencing across cultures, and disrupting traditional practices to achieve outstanding results. What's the job? Ensure supply chain requirements are integrated into product decisions to maximise customer availability and minimise costs. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. Manage global relationships and collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, buying teams and our retail banners. Influence across cultures to address operational issues and ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the supply chain. Disrupt traditional practices and find innovative solutions to meet and exceed changing customer demand Deliver change through owning end-to-end projects supported with contingency plans to mitigate disruptions. Use your expertise and influence on all aspects of supply chain management and become a trusted partner across our businesses. What you'll bring Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data to create meaningful insights, perform cost analysis, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making. Communication: Strong communication skills to represent the supply chain in cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and influence across all levels and cultures. Project Management: Effective in conceiving and managing projects from conception to launch, including contingency planning and post-implementation review. Vendor Management: Experience in end-to-end vendor management from onboarding, capability assessment, forecasting, and materials & capacity planning. Continuous Improvement: A proactive approach to identifying and implementing supply chain improvements How We Work We believe in flexibility and balance.
