Group Health & Safety Officer Based in Dungannon £40k – £45k DOE plus company benefits Delighted to be supporting this growing FMCG / Distribution business in the recruitment of a proactive and motivated Group Health & Safety Officer to join their expanding team. Working closely with the Senior Leadership team, including a CMIOSH who will act as a mentor, the Health & Safety Officer will take ownership of site health and safety performance, ensuring legislative compliance, reducing risk, and driving continuous improvement across the business. Role Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification (essential) • 2-3 years’ experience within a Health & Safety role • Experience within food manufacturing, warehousing, cold storage, or similar operational environments highly desirable • Proven experience in auditing, workplace inspections, and incident investigations • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Responsibilities: • Conduct regular risk assessments, workplace inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations • Maintain accurate records relating to incidents, inspections, and risk assessments • Coordinate and deliver health and safety training programmes and maintain the site training matrix • Support emergency preparedness, including fire safety procedures and first aid arrangements • Drive a positive safety culture through coaching, communication, and engagement across all departments • Ensure the correct provision and use of PPE and safety equipment • Monitor and maintain first aid provisions throughout the site • Work collaboratively with management teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in health and safety performance Vacancy Reference: PR/029289 Vacancy Owner: Jamie Harper | [email protected] | (+353) 1270 8843 | (+44) 7525277330
