Description
Most accounting roles are about keeping the numbers right. This one is about shaping how finance scales with a fast-growing international business. PriceShape is scaling fast — more entities, more markets, more complexity every quarter — and we need a Group Accountant who can own the complex end of the close and build a consolidation process that actually holds up as we grow. You'll own the judgement-heavy parts of the monthly close and take full ownership of group consolidation across entities. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with our Group Financial Controller and close to our CFO, with short decision paths and real influence on how we build the finance function from here. If you're the kind of accountant who gets annoyed by manual workarounds and wants to fix them rather than live with them — this is a good place to be. Why this role is different You prepare group consolidation — intercompany, eliminations, adjustments. Not a slice of it. You build, not just maintain. Our processes are growing with us, which means you get to shape them instead of inheriting someone else's. Real scale-up complexity. International group, multiple currencies, a business model that's still evolving. It won't be boring. Short lines to the top. Direct collaboration with the Group Financial Controller and close proximity to the CFO. Room to automate. Including AI tools — we'd rather you spend your time on judgement than on copy-paste. A clear path forward as the finance function scales. What You'll Do Own the complex month-end tasks — provisions, accruals and other judgemental entries Deliver a close that's well-documented, reconciled and ready for review Own intercompany eliminations, adjustments and reconciliations end-to-end Make consolidation documented, repeatable and audit-ready across entities Make sure our accounting treatment holds up — to our principles, our policies and our auditors Flag the judgement calls early, so nothing derails month- and year-end Support external audit with documentation, analysis and clear answers Guide and quality-check our Accountant's day-to-day bookkeeping Improve how accounting and controlling work together — continuously Must-Have Skills 4+ years of experience in accounting, ideally from a group or multi-entity setup Solid experience with month-end close, reconciliations, accruals and provisions Hands-on experience with group consolidation and intercompany transactions Strong understanding of relevant accounting principles Experience supporting external audits with documentation and analysis Structured, disciplined and documentation-driven way of working Comfortable working independently while knowing when to escalate Fluent in Danish and English Good-to-Have Skills Experience from a SaaS, tech or other fast-scaling company Experience with E-conomic, Zenegy, Pleo, Cledara, Younium (or other invoicing tools) Experience working with entities across multiple countries and currencies Relevant education within finance/accounting (e.g. HD-R, cand.merc.aud. or similar) Experience using AI tools to streamline accounting processes What We Offer A fast-growing SaaS company with strong ambitions and international expansion A role with real ownership of the complex parts of the close and full ownership of group consolidation Close collaboration with an experienced Group Financial Controller and CFO A talented, supportive, and international team with strong team spirit A culture built on trust, ownership, and work-life balance Clear development path within Finance as the company and the finance function scale Modern offices in Aarhus, with flexibility for hybrid work About PriceShape PriceShape is an international SaaS company headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark.
