Glendale Bristol carries out a wide range of grounds maintenance, environmental and countryside management contracts throughout the Avon, Somerset and M4/5 area and require a member of staff to join our GM team. Services offered at this office include grounds maintenance, woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery, forestry and environmental engineering projects. We are seeking to appoint 2 seasonal staff members. The Opportunity • Temporary contract – full time 40 hrs per week • Good opportunities for overtime earnings. The Person • Proactive member of staff with a passion for grounds maintenance, outdoor working, countryside and the environment • The candidate will have good organisational and interpersonal skills: be able to deal with clients and the public and work in a team • Be able to work to undertake duties with minimum of supervision and direct team members • The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge and skills in grounds maintenance, including pedestrian and ride-on grass cutting • Nature of work requires the candidate to hold the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC / Lantra certificates : CS30 /31 , brushcutter/hedge-trimmer, PA1/PA6. Possession of a valid CSCS card would be an advantage. A full UK driving licence is essential, preferably with trailer towing up to 3,500kg.
