Description
AST SpaceMobile is building a global cellular broadband network in space. This Ground Software Engineer role focuses on designing and implementing graphical interfaces and full-stack web applications to support mission operations for constellation-based satellites, working closely with the USA division.
What You'll Do
• Design and implement graphical interfaces for software applications supporting mission operations for constellation-based satellites
• Develop and maintain user interfaces for websites and applications with responsive designs optimized for mobile and other devices
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and backend components
• Work with relational and non-relational database concepts to support application functionality
• Integrate third-party code with existing version control systems and communicate closely with cross-functional teams
What You Need
• 3-5 years of experience in front-end and backend developer roles
• Proficiency in full stack development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js
• Experience with frameworks including React, Angular, Vue, FastAPI, Node.js, or Flutter
• Familiarity with version control systems and containerization technologies such as Docker
• Comfortable working on different operating systems including Linux and Windows; experience with relational and non-relational databases
• BTech, MCA, or MSc degree
Nice to Have
• Proficiency with implementing DevOps concepts in complex environments including continuous integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Experience with container managers such as Docker-Compose or Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud providers, specifically AWS
• Experience with mobile development frameworks such as Swift or Android Studio
