Glendale have a prestigious grounds maintenance contract to maintain housing sites across North and Central Dorset. We now seek to recruit a number of staff to support the contract, carrying out grass cutting and other horticultural duties. The Opportunity • Permanent full time position within our team • Based in our Blandford Forum depot, working across Dorset The Person We currently have a vacancy for a Grounds Maintenance Chargehand based within our Blandford Forum Team. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day implementation of the duties required of the contract. This includes grass cutting, strimming, weeding & hedge trimming, Leading your team and being responsible for achieving excellent service delivery to our clients. Candidates must have experience of grounds maintenance as well as supervising a small team. Experience of small machinery such as strimmers, hedge cutters including ride on mowing machines is essential. A full clean driving licence including towing a trailer is required too. PA1 and PA6 desirable, but not essential.
