Graphic/Product Designer Creative firm in the Flatiron district seeks experienced candidates interested in designing products for the museum gift shop industry and beyond. We are a full-service product design and development firm, specializing in the production of retail gift products for the museum world, as well as private label programs for fashion companies, and corporate gifts/premium items for international corporations. This position will require the candidate to: • Develop designs and repeat patterns inspired by famous works of art • Create tech packs and production files for overseas factories • Have experience and knowledge of working with Pantone color guides • Help review lab dips and production samples arriving from factories • Assist in the preparation of artwork for client presentations • Be creative and have a good sense of color • Participate in “brainstorming” sessions, have good verbal and written skills in English • Communicate daily with the business owner • Design using Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop (knowledge of 3D CAD and AI is a plus) Ideal candidate(s) will have a Bachelor’s Degree in art; be very organized and detail oriented; have good interpersonal skills, as well as a strong ability to multi-task while designing for several clients simultaneously. Three or more years of related product design work will be considered a plus. A cover letter with your resume is required to be considered. Please include your availability.
