Outline of the role  This role will help Zinc clients to develop clear and engaging visual products to strengthen their public communications and messaging.  The role will contribute to the development and delivery of coordinated communication campaigns to enhance public understanding of key priorities from our clients.     This includes:   Developing and implementing cohesive communication campaigns  Enhancing public engagement through clear, accessible, and visually compelling content   Expanding audience reach through targeted digital communication efforts  Producing creative assets including infographics, videos, social media content, and other multimedia materials, supporting content dissemination across relevant platforms  What you’ll be doing  We are seeking a Graphic Designer to support our clients in delivering high-quality visual communication outputs. You will work closely with client counterparts and project teams, contributing to the planning, production, and dissemination of content. You will:   Generate innovative design concepts and present them effectively to stakeholders  Translate complex policy messages into engaging visual content   Contribute to the development of campaign concepts, branding, and visual identities   Deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines   Ensure strong attention to detail in all design work   Respond quickly to feedback and revise materials as needed   Ensure all outputs align with relevant legal, ethical, and editorial standards  This is a full-time role running to 30 June, 2026.   Key Responsibilities  Generate innovative design concepts and selling them both internally and externally with our clients and partners  Communicate design ideas effectively  Help develop new campaign concepts and brands  Ensure assets are delivered to a high quality and on time  Ensure attention to detail in presentation of work  Take feedback well and be prepared to revise your work at speed in order to meet the needs of our clients, partners and internal stakeholders.  Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines, including Zinc’s editorial and ethics guidelines.   Requirements Qualifications & Experience  Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and visual storytelling skills  Experience designing for social media platforms and diverse audiences  Understanding of audience engagement and digital communication trends  Experience in motion graphics or video editing is an advantage  Strong organisational and time management skills  Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment  Experience working with government, NGOs, or international organisations is desirable.
