Graduate Automotive Engineer - CAD or Engineering roles - Offering Perm or Contract Are you considering a new position? A step up in your career path? We employ engineers for both contract and permanent positions, into the Automotive sectors of industry. We are currently looking for a Graduate Automotive Engineer to join our fast and growing engineering team based onsite in Woking, Surrey. Typical everyday tasks will include: • Developing concepts and designing components. • Completing design studies and presenting these. • Liaising with other Engineers and CAD group. • Attending design reviews and taking away actions. • Completing assigned tasks as directed. • Analysing metrics and data using Excel • Understanding and analysing CAE reports. • Liaising with manufacturing. • Meeting suppliers • Attending design reviews and taking away actions Skills Required: • A 2:1 or above in a degree in Automotive/Engineering/Mechanical/Electrical • Ideally industry experience either as part of a sandwich course or 6 months+ work experience • A passion for the automotive industry • Excellent communication skills • Team working skills • IT knowledge and experience with MS Office • An interest/experience in Engineering/Design/CAD/CATIA V5/Powertrain/Chassis/Body Contechs offers a challenging and fast moving working environment and ongoing professional training and development. *Please note: Due to the high level of applicants, only successful candidates will be contacted Unfortunately candidates requiring visa sponsorship CANNOT be considered for this role.
