3Red Partners, a proprietary trading firm based in Chicago, is seeking a Graduate C++ Developer for their 2027 incoming class to join their high-frequency trading team. You will implement, test, and deploy trading system features while monitoring low-latency system performance and collaborating with traders and developers on optimization and system improvements. What You'll Do • Implement, test, and deploy trading system features and tools according to business requirements • Monitor low-latency trading system performance and ensure market data and research resource utilization • Track bugs, fix issues, and deploy solutions appropriately • Liaise with traders and developers to discuss performance optimizations, refactor existing implementations, and monitor OS, library, and framework updates • Investigate system improvements, diagnose, debug, and address technical issues as needed What You Need • Bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, graduating by August 2027 • 1+ years of industry internship experience working in C++ • Proficiency in C++ including data structures • Knowledge of low-latency topics and third-party libraries such as STL and Boost • Experience with Linux environments and git • Exceptional problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills Base salary $125,000–$200,000 depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
