Position Overview: ANSER is seeking a Governance Integration and Policy Analyst to support the Organizational and Management Policy Directorate (O&MPD) within the Office of the Director of Administration and Management (ODA&M). In this role, you will support senior Department of War (DoW) governance and decision-making forums by developing policy, coordinating executive-level initiatives, and providing analytical support to organizational and management planning efforts. You will collaborate across the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Joint Staff, Military Departments, and War Agencies to advance strategic governance initiatives and support executive leadership. Day to Day Responsibilities: Draft, revise, coordinate, and finalize Department-level policy documents for review and signature by senior leadership. Prepare white papers, strategic plans, roadmaps, executive briefings, read-ahead materials, and other decision-support products. Coordinate and support governance forums for the Secretary of War, Deputy Secretary of War, and other senior leaders, including meeting planning, execution, and follow-up actions. Collaborate with governance offices, Principal Staff Assistants, War Agencies, and DoW Components to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely staffing of governance actions. Facilitate governance processes by tracking actions, integrating feedback, and resolving coordination issues across stakeholders. Support the development and implementation of governance structures, charters, and organizational management policies. Develop and deliver governance and Cross-Functional Team (CFT) training for DoW Components. Engage with organizations across the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW), Joint Staff, Military Departments, and other DoW Components to collect information, analyze strategic initiatives, and support leadership briefings. Conduct research and analysis to support organizational planning, management reviews, and special projects. Perform additional governance and policy support duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Master's degree 8+ years of experience supporting the Pentagon at the OSW, Joint Staff, or Military Department level. Equivalent education and experience substitutions may be considered, if applicable. Experience developing, coordinating, and staffing Department-level policy documents and executive correspondence. Experience supporting executive governance processes, senior leader meetings, or Department-level decision forums. Knowledge of Department of War organizational structure, governance processes, and management policies. Working knowledge of DoW directives and issuances, including DoDD 5105.53, DoDD 5100.01, DoDD 5101.1, and DoDD 5105.79. Experience preparing executive briefings, white papers, strategic plans, and other senior-level decision support materials. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Ability to provide on-site support at the Pentagon Monday through Friday during core business hours. Preferred Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance or Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Experience with project management methodologies, performance metrics, and organizational analysis.
