What is The Role
We’re looking for a Global PR Director to lead our external communications and drive high-impact outcomes across priority markets. This is a senior role responsible for ensuring product innovation is translated into clear, credible narratives that build trust with developers and economic buyers, and are amplified optimally across channels and markets.
You will own our global PR strategy, lead major campaigns and launches, and ensure we consistently land differentiated stories across media, social, podcasts, and speaking platforms. You will work closely with Product, Marketing, Developer Marketing, Social, and regional teams to drive aligned execution and ensure consistent rollout across markets and channels. This role reports to the Head of Global Communications.
PR is a core lever for how we build credibility and differentiate in the market. This role ensures we show up with a clear, consistent, and compelling narrative globally and translate it into sustained visibility and influence across channels.
What You Will Be Doing
Define and implement a global PR strategy aligned to company priorities and positioning
Ensure product innovation is consistently translated into strong, repeatable narratives that build credibility with technical and economic audiences
Drive high-impact visibility across media, social, podcasts, and speaking opportunities in key markets
Lead global campaign planning and major launches, ensuring coordinated, consistent rollout across regions and channels
Collaborate closely with Social, Product, Marketing, and Developer Marketing teams to ensure alignment and coordinated execution
Lead and optimize team and agency performance across markets, ensuring consistent quality and impact
Identify and prioritize the opportunities that will most optimally build visibility and market credibility across channels
Partner with executive and product teams to develop a strong, credible spokesperson bench
Measure and improve performance, focusing on outcomes not activity
What You Bring
Proven experience leading global PR in a high-growth tech company
Strong track record of driving high-impact visibility across media and broader channels
Experience driving the performance of regional teams and agencies across multiple regions
Commercial mentality with an understanding how communications supports growth, pipeline, and market perception
Confident working with senior team members and advising executives
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
