Job   Description As a Tax Senior Associate in Vialto Partners ’s Global Mobility Tax team, you will play a key role in   assisting   some of the world’s most   recognisable global   organisations   with their tax obligations related to the movement of employees across international borders. This role involves providing tax compliance and consulting services to multinational   organisations   and their employees, ensuring adherence to global tax regulations, and optimising   tax strategies for both the company and its mobile employees. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert advice to tax, payroll, finance, and HR teams of external companies on the Australian tax and social security implications for cross border employment arrangements. • Design and Implement workforce tax planning initiatives to help clients optimize tax outcomes for their organization and employees • Manage tax aspects of global mobility programs, addressing tax equalization, tax protection, and tax planning. • Handle tax audits and disputes related to global mobility, working to resolve issues efficiently. • Monitor and assess the risk of creating permanent establishments in various jurisdictions. • Coordination of global client services, liaising with foreign offices, responding to escalations and service issues and ensuring consistent high-quality client service across all Vialto locations. • Manage client projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality deliverables. • Work collaboratively with Vialto colleagues as part of a global engagement delivery team. • Provide support with training and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on global workforce tax matters. • Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, leverage technology and enhance ways of working to drive efficiency, consistency and service quality. • Build and nurture strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth. • Manage your immediate team and delegate work to junior staff. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce , Business, or   a related   field preferred. • 3 -5 years of experience in tax preferred, with a focus on individual tax compliance and consulting. • Prior experience with Australian global mobility tax issues and/or international tax regulations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency   in Microsoft Office and Google. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
