Description
For our Competence Center Readymix (CCR) Europe we are looking for a Global Lead Production, CAPEX & Engineering (f/m/d) . This position is located in Heidelberg , Germany and will report to the Director Competence Center Readymix Europe. YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE • Act as the key expert and point of contact for all RMC production and engineering topics in all areas and regions • Own high priority production related initiaves with coordinated leadership, project management, and expertise • Globally coordinate the RMC CapEx process (as per the Group CAPEX Guidelines and the CCR Capex Revitalization Program) • Support the CCR ReNew - Assets Replacement Program and work closely with countries starting from technical specifications and H&S standards to an actual project implementation phase • Lead the ongoing development of production topics for the RMC operating model, RMC wiki, and RMC academy • Capture critical topics and steer prioritization to ensure content aligns with company goals and vision • Lead the RMC production and CapEx RMC community with communication plans, best practice sharing, and connecting global colleagues • Prioritize the production expert group’s resources and focus as required to maximize operational performance and other critical KPIs and objectives YOUR PROFILE • Degree in engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • 8+ years in concrete materials or related building materials industry • Concrete production knowledge and direct experience with plant engineering, processes, control systems, and staff management • Ability to understand the operational, technical, commercial and financial aspects of the business and how they relate to each other. • Ability to apply technical recommendations in a pragmatic, hands-on way to the actual operating environment • Strong analytic skills and the ability to engage people into a data-driven management culture • Highly organized and self-motivated with excellent communication and project management skills, and the strong desire to work alongside and support our line management with all aspects of continuous Performance Improvement • Excellent communication skills to all levels from blue collar worker to CEO in an international environment • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel • Ability to coach and motivate peers without direct lines of authority • Fluent English language skills are required; any other languages relevant to the Europe region are beneficial OUR OFFER We are convinced that only those who successfully realize their personal goals can also fully contribute professionally.
