Interroll provides system integrators and OEMs with a wide range of platform-based products and services in these categories: Rollers (conveyor rollers), Drives (motors and drives for conveyor systems), Conveyors & Sorters as well as Pallet Handling (flow storage systems). Interroll products and solutions are used in express and postal services, e-commerce, airports, the food & beverage industry, fashion, automotive sectors and many other manufacturing industries. What are my responsibilities? • Global responsibility for the Engineering division in accordance with the Chief Technology Officer’s (CTO) specifications • Integrated product development with platform and product management, production and purchasing to ensure market-compliant and production-ready solutions • Establishment and further development of a high-performance, cross-functional, global engineering organization through the further development of a systematic and key performance indicator-oriented approach • Establishment and development of global locations to regionalize development expertise and strengthen the APAC and AMERICAS regions • Promotion of a collaborative culture between locations and the disciplines of mechanics, electrics, embedded systems and software development • Overall responsibility for the technical implementation of product developments and platform solutions • Continuation of a model-based systems engineering methodology for virtual validation in conjunction with subsequent physical, data-supported validation to shorten development times while improving quality • Development of modular product architectures to promote configurability, high commonality of parts and efficient product maintenance throughout the product life cycle What do I need to qualify for this job? • Master degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in automation technology and OT/IT networking and/or intralogistics • Relevant professional experience in an international development environment with cross-functional management responsibility • Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C1 level) • Strong leadership and communication skills and high degree of creativity and solution-oriented thinking • Intercultural competence and willingness to travel • Strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality • Strong identification with our corporate values: Long-term thinking, Committed to excellence, Always respectful, Passionate about customers What do we offer you? • Attractive employer benefits: Secure job in a growing, international company • Open corporate culture: Individual induction, various team events • Agile working environment: Modern and well-equipped workplace, short decision-making processes thanks to flat hierarchies • Personal development as well as varied and responsible tasks • The opportunity to contribute your own ideas and increase innovative strength • Many additional benefits: job bike, urban Sports, free parking, discounted lunch, etc. • 30 days vacation • Flexible organization of mobile office and on-site work Are you interested in this position and would like to face new challenges?
