The Role: Join the bar team at one of Auckland’s best kept secrets, The Glass Goose. We’re on the lookout for an outgoing and energetic individual to join our team in a part‑time, permanent role. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced, vibrant environment with real pathways into leadership roles across the Cook Brothers Hospitality Group. What You’ll Be Doing As part of the Glass Goose crew, you’ll help keep our venue pumping. Your responsibilities include: • Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences • Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non‑alcoholic beverages • Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack‑down • Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy • Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets • Handling payments and POS transactions • Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock • Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required What We Offer We’re committed to supporting our people and helping them grow: • Competitive pay with clear progression pathways ($24–$28 per hour) • Industry‑leading training and development opportunities • Staff discounts across all Cook Brothers venues • Opportunities to work across multiple sites • A supportive, encouraging and fun team • A stable, ongoing role with consistent hours About the Glass Goose The Glass Goose Bar & Eatery lies at the top of a hidden staircase, just off Federal Street.
